Hilton Head 2011

Most of the crew out looking for  sea life.... Adam, Jack, Addison, Lauren (Myia's friend) Christian and Myia.  Ayla liked it up to her ankles..haha. The kids enjoyed playing in the ocean catching creatures. They had many contests..

They also were very content playing in the sand. We were lucky it was hazy most days so the sun wasn't beating down on us.

It was hard to get all of the sand out of Ayla's crazy hair.

We also enjoyed bike riding , Addison and Ayla rode on tag-a-longs this year.

We found an aligator when we were riding.

We rode to a donut shop one morning and it was kind of like Subway you could get your donut any way you wanted it and they were soooooo good!!!

They were supposed to be rinsing off, we would get up most days go straight to the beach until it got really hot around lunch and go to the pool to cool/rinse off and have lunch and nap then pool or beach in the evening.  I must not have taken any pics at the pool, because the week went sooooo fast, we had such a great time, the kids said they loved it all!

We ended up bringing home two hermit crabs, Grandma bought them for Addison and Ayla, Addison named his T-Rex Hilton Davis and Ayla named hers Ayla Ladybug Davis.  You can tell what they are painted like by the names... Ayla's is a yellow ladybuy and Addison's is a T- Rex. We had fun with Uncle Christian, Aunt Brittany, Myia, Lauren, Jack, Aunt Susie, Grandpa John and Grandma Beth!!  Aunt Susie made us TWO turtlecakes.. YUM and she also make Addison whatever he wanted for lunch!! SPOILED!! T

Addison lost his First Tooth!!

Ok, so a few weeks ago Addison noticed he had one of this bottome teeth growing in behind his baby teeth.  So I took him do the dentist and he said he needed to pull them, Addison didn't want him to so we told him we could have a month to get the teeth out. The first night of vacation Myia pulled Addison's first tooth.  She got it out whooohoo..  Now I am going to try to find the video of Myia loosing her first tooth, she lost it here at our house and boy was she emotional it was soooo funny.  And to think she is the one who pulled Addison's tooth.  Her hands were shaking a little when she was wiggling it. 

All of these people plus Aunt Susie, Mommy and Daddy where there for the big moment. 

Addison decided he wanted to go stay in Jack's place with him so he took his tooth over to his condo.

Grandma Beth and Aunt Brittany talked to the tooth fairy and Addison received 10 dollars for his first tooth.... Wow... Myia is saving her teeth to put under the pillow at Granny Camp because the tooth fairy at Grandma's gives you more money!?!?!?

Friends Cont.....

Today Dawn my friend from college brought her two kids over to play, Gavin, Ayla, Addison and Gracyn played very well outside in the HOT weather, it was great to catch up with Dawn and watch the kiddies play!!

Happy 4th!

Adam had several days off this holiday weekend for a change.  We really didn't do much outside the house. We went to Caramia's 1st birthday party on Saturday and dressed in red, white and blue... you can see the silly pose we got in the picture!! We went to Matt and Michele's for fireworks and swimming after the party.  Other than that we worked on projects that needed to be finished around the house and car!  We got lots done!! 

Today we got to take care of Hudson and Braxton for a few hours which was lots of fun to have a baby around again. It brought back lots of memories.... Adam said he is still glad we are done...haha..  The kids were really good!

One of our projects was to build Zoomer and Gayla a little fence to play in and they LOVE it! We made them a "chute" to run in and out of the cage and they run up and down up and down! Great job on the fence daddy and Addison!!

Thursday we traveled to Chillicothe to visit Adam's Great Grandma Arledge who just turned 96 ( I believe).  She recognized us and we had a fabulous visit.  The kids were really good and she enjoyed watching them!

Then we went to Kingston to meet Adam's Great Aunt Bette and Uncle Dwight.  They celebrated 65 years together in January!! We stopped by their house and went to McDonalds and they got us lunch and we went to a park in Chillicothe to eat and feed birds, geese and swans some bread!!
