Old Friends Reunite~~

Ethan and Owen ask me almost daily at school when they can spend the night.. and for some reaason we seem to always have plans so finally Friday we were free.  They had plans early Saturday so I just brought the boys home from school, picked up Ayla and Ellington and we came here to play.  We ordered pizza and played, it was a good time.

Awards Day

Addison always wants to take pictures of his animals before he cleans them up so here is another day of playing the Wilds..

Today was awards day, Addison got Perfect Attendance and Super Helper Award.  He got his report card last week and it was Excellent!!  We are so proud of him!! He is doing great in school, we love listening to him read books to us everyday!!

Ayla the Gymnast

It is hard to get pictures of Ayla at gymnastics because of the window and all of the people. Adam took the camera this week and got her on the little vault ( I really don't know what it is called) She is doing great at gymnastics and we love watching her flip around.  Her dance teacher also said she is doing great in both her tap and ballet, she said she is natural dancer.... we can't want to see her at her recital since dance is during the day when she is at preschool!!

** Three Day Weekend**

Friday we had our first snow for this school year!! I was surprised since I hadn't listened to the weather, and they didn't put us on a two hour delay first!!

Addison and Ayla were supposed to go to Grandma Beth and Grandpa John's!! We went down earlier since we were supposed to get bad weather again Friday night.  We met at the Boondocks a little restaurant in McConnelsville that has been on the Food Network.( I think thats the show)  It was very good!! Addison and Ayla had a great weekend, they played in the snow and played in Grandpa's garage.  Addison practiced football and basketball he said, he brought home this gorgeous gold bald eagle he found in Grandpa's garage to hang up in his room...  Grandma brought them back today and met us at church, Addison and Ayla sang in Children's Choir, they did a wonderful job!!!! 

Saturday night Adam and I went to the Wilds holiday party, this year it was combined with Zoombezi Bay, Columbus Zoo and the Zoo Golfcourse.  It was at the Hilton in Polaris and was very nice.  There were 30 people from the Wilds and 350 from the zoo.  So needless to say we didn't know many people!! Jack Hanna and his wife Susie were there along with their daugher Julie, she also works at the zoo and she stayed until the end.  We got to visit more with Jack last year at the little Wilds party, this is the first time I had ever seen Jack out of his khaki outfit,  we had to dress up pretty to go to this fancy party!!  There is talk with some of the zoo people that they may go ahead and have a party with just the Wilds.  They had tons of really nice door prizes to win and they had casino games and dancing.  We had to stay the very end to win a door prizes.... so we did and we won a $15 gift card to Sugardaddy's......we really didn't need that TV anyway.....hahaha..  We hope the Wilds continues to grow and get bigger, Jack talked about how small the zoo used to be and how the budget has changed from them until now... so we can only pray that happens with the Wilds.  This was the best year ever at the Wilds for attendance, it was also best year for the Zoo and Zoombezi bay!! 

I slacked on the pictures this weekend but we had a wonderful weekend!!  I am not sure I am leaving the kids for a very long time...... 2 nights is a bit much for me!!!!!!!!!

So Addison has been dying to play flea flicker flag football again.  I am surprised by this but we signed him up.  Addison overheard the lady ask his dad to coach the boys and Adam said no.  So Addison asked me to talk to his dad and ask him to coach.  So Addison and I talked about it and we came up with a better plan.  He knew Nate ( Braxton and Hudson's dad) Coached football for Tri- Valley so maybe we could ask him.  Well Nate said he would if Brax could play and, Yipppee he can!!  Here is a picture of Braxton and Addison... Addison asked if I called Tiff and asked Brax to wear that shirt so they would match.  I did not , I didn't even know Braxton had one.  But I thought they looked super cute!!

** Snow**

Finally got barely enough snow to sled ride!  We went to Grandpa Phil's house to help him hang up some blinds and we went over to Grandma Beth and Grandpa John's to sled down their hill.. They were not there to watch us but we had a great time!!

Keep the snow coming so we can play some more!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~Skate Night~

Last Winter on some Tuesdays we went to the Linda Arena to skate with friends from church so we started it back up this year... Addison, Brett and Kyle are trying to do the Cha-Cha Slide...

Read With Me Night

Tonight, we went to Dresden Elementary for Addison's first read with me night! He did wonderful, we read 3 books and took 3 AR quizess in which he got all 100%!! Go Addison!!

Happy 90th Birthday Uncle Dwight!!

We missed Uncle Dwight's 90th Birthday on Saturday so we made a trip over to Kingston to visit with him and Aunt Bette, we had a great visit and enjoyed our time with them.

**Monster Jam**

On Saturday we took the Brownriggs and Ryan's to Nationwide Arena to Monster Jam, we got the kids all decked out in the Samson gear so we could cheer on Uncle Dan!!  We had lots of fun!!

Movie Night

Friday night Addison's school showed the movie Dolphin Tale, it was very cute and we brought Ali with us to join in the fun!!  We got some popcorn and relaxed on your sleeping bag as we watched the movie in the school gym.

As we were leaving we recieved real photos of Winter the dolphin, now Ayla wants to go visit Clearwater, Florida to meet the dolphin.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to all of you!! We had an nice evening.  We made cupcakes in the Easy Bake Oven, then ordered pizza, played some of the kids new games and watched one of the kids movies that they got for Christmas.  It was just the four of us. Adam had to work Saturday and Sunday so we kept it low key!!  Oh yeah one more thing... I beat Adam at checkers!!!

Slumber Party

Addison and Ayla spent Friday night with Hudson and Braxton, Tiff said they did great!! I was sort of worried Ayla wouldn't make it but it was so close to home it would be easy to get her but NO problems...Yippeee! Thanks Brownriggs the kids had an Awesome time......and Adam and I had fun on our date night!!!!
