Happy 70th Birthday!!

After the Baby shower Ayla and I met Adam and Addison in McConnelsville, to have a surprise birthday party for my Grandpa. We had a weiner roast! It was really cold and windy! 

We had to move it to the garage...brrr...!

Jennifer's Baby Shower

Saturday Ayla and I traveled to Kingston to attend Adam's cousin's baby shower, they are having a little girl, she is due Oct 31! The baby is the first grandchild on both sides and the first great- grandchild to  two of the grandmas, she is going to be LOVED!!

Soccer Season !!

Addison and Ayla are both playing soccer this year! Luckily they have practice on the same night at the same time. Unfortunately some of the games are at the same time as well on Tuesday evenings.  Adam is helping coach Ayla's team with Corbin's dad!  Ayla is having a blast!!

Addison is also having fun and I think he knows most of the kids on his team!

Addison and Ayla's Animal Encounter

Last weekend, Addison and Ayla organized an animal encounter for us to watch, it was a very detailed presentation, it lasted over 1 1/2 hours, part of it was in Addison's room and part was in our bed, for an additional fee we were able to lay down in our bed and watch.  They had little facts about the animals they showed us.

They charged money for everything!! It was very expensive!

Great Great Grandma Arledge

We had another busy weekend.  I did not take any pictures.  Friday we traveled to Kingston, Adam's Great Grandma Arledge who was 98 years old passed away and we went to the Funeral Home Friday evening and the funeral was Saturday.  We spent the night with Grandpa and Grandma Patrick on Friday night, we had a slumber party, Grandma Becky and Grandpa Tom were also there. This was our first time staying the night in Circleville! Addison had lost a tooth Friday morning and wanted me to take it to Grandma Patrick's to put under his pillow.  We did, he got $5!!  ( I hope he doesn't keep taking his teeth to special places) Grandma Patrick had a surprise of donuts waiting on us when we woke up!!  The kids were very excited about that !! 

At the funeral on Saturday, Grandpa Patrick played the piano and Addison, Ayla, Isabella and Grandma Becky sang Jesus Loves Me! It was very sweet, Grandpa did a great job playing the piano and the singers were also pretty great!!  Adam recorded the music, I will try to have him post it when he gets home!

Addison and Ayla were very blessed to have had to Great- Great Grandmothers!! My Grandma Porter and Adam's Grandma Arledge.  Now they are both in Heaven.  The funeral service was very nice and the weather was perfect! 

Morgan County Fair

I left my camera in the car on Friday when we traveled to Morgan County Fair! We had a fun night and saw tons of people we knew.  We rode rides, looked at lots of animals and watched the tough truck contest!  Addison rode a mechanical bull and stayed on for a very long time.  He did great!! He was very serious about staying on that bull.

Ayla's First Day of Preschool

Ayla had a great day at preschool as a Big Bird!!  I posted all of the pictures because I love them all!!  We ended the evening meeting Tiff, Nate, Hudson and Braxton at Bob Evans to celebrate Braxton and Ayla's first day of preschool!!
