Skate Night

Adam was in charge of the camera and forgot to capture the great moments of skating, we had around fifteen friends with us and everyone did great.  Ayla and Ali were always together and made tons of progress, Ayla was even skating backwards to entertain little Cooper it was sooooo funny.  Addison skated do fast he could feel wind.. We had a great time and can't wait to do it again.

Presidents Day!!

This was a wonderful long weekend for us!! Saturday we spent the day making cards and treats for sick family members and planning a birthday celebration for my friend Tammy.  The kids wanted to make trail mix for Uncle Joe, we were  going to go visit him but the kid still had a terrible cough at times and we don't want him to be sick!! We are so glad he is doing well! We made lots  of pictures and get well cards.  They Addison wanted to go out to celebrate Tammy's birthday, he wanted to go to the restaurant with grapes and leaves.  So we picked up Tammy and Laura and had a wonderful dinner at Olive Garden, we also had to make her a cake, ( just in case her husband Steve forgot) So we took that as well!! I forgot my camera so I couldn't capture the moment.  This morning my "walking club"  decided we would walk to breakfast so my kids of course want to go, so we walked in the cold to Donald's Donuts for a yummy breakfast!! It was fun, Tammy and Karen spoil Addison and Ayla!!  Here is a picture of the kids bundled up for our walk!

Valentines Day!

Our Valentines day lasted for many days and we have more candy than on Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday night, the boys and Ayla went to get haircuts so  I made the favorite.. pancakes for dinner, and I got them all a little surprise.. Addison said it was the best day ever!!   He got a bobcat, ( but he calls it some other cat??)  Ayla got a mini pillow pet and she loved hers as well!! 

The kids wanted Adam to go get them something for me... Ayla wanted what the commercial said.... a heart necklace, bracelent and earrings.. I got cute mud boots.. Ayla heard me say I wanted them last time we went to the Wilds so she told her dad and he got that instead of jewlery!! 

Tuesday the kids both had Valentine Parties at school, I went down to Addison's to help! It was fun, he is so well behaved and polite! I am soooo proud of him! 

Tuesday evening we met both Grandma's and Grandpa's at Bob Evans for dinner and went to cheer on the Rams.   They lost but are getting better, Addison pulled two flags and tried very hard and hustled alot .. Great Job.. Braxton played very hard as well! We really enjoy cheering the boys on!! Ayla loves playing with Hudson...   I am stealing more pictures from Tiff!!

Preparing for Valentine's Day!

This weekend we were very busy making treats for Addison's class, Ayla's Class and Tami's .. We did our Valentine cards as well.  This year we decided to make a special treat for all of the the teachers, we made chocoloate covered caramel apples, it was a big job but they turned out pretty well!! Above Addiosn and Ayla are making trail mix for Tami's and for Addison's Class!!

This is Addison's first Valentine "Box" He decided to make a silo.. turned out pretty cute!! 

Football Week 3

Addison played his hardest, the boys on the other team were mostly 8 yr olds and have played together for many years so needless to say we lost but Addison had a blast!!!  Tiff's blog says Addison had a 30 yard run... so he must have..haha// He does try really had and is pretty quick.. I love watching the boys play.. Yay Brax and Addison!!

Wilds Babies

On (last )Saturday we had some free time before heading to visit Papaw Phil so we swung by the Wilds to see the newest babies!! We had an an awesome trip!! 

They opened the doors to let them out to play it was so sweet running all around.. this is little Mike...

Ayla and Addison with two new babie rhinos, they are about 3 months old!

So cool to see all of the giraffe in the barn, the two babies are in the herd..

The zoo has been working on training the giraffe to come up and eat more from you so we are practicing.... they are getting the giraffe ready for their new exhibit!!
