Happy 34th Birthday Dad!!

Last week Adam went White Water Rafting with the Davis men so me and the kids went to Cracker Barrel for dinner.  It was someones birthday and the wairtress sang for the birthday girl, well Addison and Ayla thought it was awesome and it would be a good idea for Dad.  So we let Adam choose the place where he wanted to go and had Grandpa John and Grandma Beth meet us at Red Lobster to surprise Daddy and have them sing to him.  It was a success and fun, the kids thought it was just awesome!! 

Velvet Ice Cream Factory

As a final celebration for VBS we went to the Velvet Ice Cream Factory, we had a picnic and played on playground, hiked in the woods, toured the factory and ate ice cream.

Ayla was the best ingredient in ice cream...sugar.. The lady used the kids in a demonstration to illustrate how they made ice cream!

It was a very good demonstration and after we walked up to see how the machines really made it!

This was the personality description if you love chocolate ice cream, Ayla chose chocolate and seems to describe her!

This was the personality traits if you like cookie dough and thats what Addison chose, which also describes him.

We had a really great and busy week!! 

Shake It Up

This week he had Vacation Bible School and what a busy fun week it was, we were up way past bedtime every single night but had a blast!  This is the best picture ( which isn't good) of the program on Thursday night.  Ayla and Addison did a wonderful job singing and dancing in the program, Addison had a solo in one of the songs and did a great job! 

Ali, Anna, Addison and Ayla, it was obviously a cooking theme the kids made the hats and aprons and looked really cute walking in the aprons all week.  We were glad to bring friends this year hopefully we will be able to bring more friends next year!

2nd Tooth Lost!

Well we are sooo happy we don't have to go to the dentist to have the tooth pulled, Adam got it out this morning!! Addison was so excited!! 

He put it under his pillow.

Barely opened his eyes checking for his money!! She came! She also took the tooth, she left it at the beach and he wanted her to take it so he was so pumped!!

Also he and daddy went to get a haircut today and Diane gave him a dollar for loosing his tooth.. How lucky are wee!!

the Wilds

Last Wednesday we went to the Wilds with the Vincent's and the Ward's! We had a great time the weather was perfect! We saw some baby Fringe Eared Oryx.. which were super cute!!

And a baby P. Horse born the day before!!

Doctor's visit...

Today Addison and Ayla had check ups at the doctor. 

Addison we think is going to be dismissed from going to Children's Hosptial.  He is growing at his own growth pattern and still at the bottom of the charts but making his own growth curve!! He gained 5lbs in a year!! He weighs 37 pounds!  He is almost 42 inches tall!! 

Ayla is almost 28 pounds!! She is 38 inches tall.  She is also on the bottom of both charts as well.  I compared her size to Addison's when he was 4, he was 30 pounds and 37 inches tall.  His BMI was in the 40 percentile, Ayla's BMI was in the 7 percentile.  Gosh thats weird huh..

We are thankful they are both healthy...and that we don't have to get any shots!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Ayla's Gymnastics

Last night in gymnastics Ayla came out and told me she was going to get to do gymnastics with the big girls.... Her teacher followed and said that Ayla is ready to move up to Level I!! Ayla was really excited, even though I have no idea if she knows what that means.  She said she is doing everything she is supposed to in Tumble Cubs and would benefit from Level I.  She said even though you are supposed to be 5 and Ayla just turned 4 that it would be a good idea.  I love watching the girls practice and wish I could do just a little of what they can do!!  It keeps them in great shape!!

Hilton Head 2011

Most of the crew out looking for  sea life.... Adam, Jack, Addison, Lauren (Myia's friend) Christian and Myia.  Ayla liked it up to her ankles..haha. The kids enjoyed playing in the ocean catching creatures. They had many contests..

They also were very content playing in the sand. We were lucky it was hazy most days so the sun wasn't beating down on us.

It was hard to get all of the sand out of Ayla's crazy hair.

We also enjoyed bike riding , Addison and Ayla rode on tag-a-longs this year.

We found an aligator when we were riding.

We rode to a donut shop one morning and it was kind of like Subway you could get your donut any way you wanted it and they were soooooo good!!!

They were supposed to be rinsing off, we would get up most days go straight to the beach until it got really hot around lunch and go to the pool to cool/rinse off and have lunch and nap then pool or beach in the evening.  I must not have taken any pics at the pool, because the week went sooooo fast, we had such a great time, the kids said they loved it all!

We found 2 starfish..

We ended up bringing home two hermit crabs, Grandma bought them for Addison and Ayla, Addison named his T-Rex Hilton Davis and Ayla named hers Ayla Ladybug Davis.  You can tell what they are painted like by the names... Ayla's is a yellow ladybuy and Addison's is a T- Rex. We had fun with Uncle Christian, Aunt Brittany, Myia, Lauren, Jack, Aunt Susie, Grandpa John and Grandma Beth!!  Aunt Susie made us TWO turtlecakes.. YUM and she also make Addison whatever he wanted for lunch!! SPOILED!! T
