Kings Island 2011

Well we had our first "bacation" as Ayla called it! After Myia's dance recital we cooked out at the Holden's spent the night and went to Kings Island on Monday.  We checked out the new dinosaur exhibit and 3D movie.  Since the kids are really into that right now we really enjoyed it.  They had a walking discovery tour and a movie.  The kids were great to watch during the movie.  They were trying to touch the dinos, it was really cool. Grandma Beth, Granpa John, Uncle Christian, Aunt Brittany, Myia, Jack, Alicia and Addison and Ayla had a great time.  We missed Adam, he was at the Wilds, Jack Hanna was out all weekend and he had his grandkids there, we were invited to go but we found out last minute after we already had plans, Adam said it was fun but it was pretty hot!

The boys loved this roller coaster, Ayla was able to ride more rides this year, she was a little taller, Addison was so sweet to her making sure she wasn't scared!  I didn't get many photos of them riding since I had to ride with them since they were not tall enough. 

The boys talked Grandpa into riding this roller coaster, Addison doesn 't look happy in this picture but this was like the 6th time he rode this ride, he made us all ride it and loved watching us be afraid! He held my hand...

Grandma and Myia are not  quite the thrill seekers you might think....haha.. It was a good thing it was nice having Myia ride with Addison and Ayla!!  Everyone was really really good and we had a great time!! Lines were not bad at all it was a great day.Thanks everyone for a fun weekend!!

Myia's Recital 2011

Ayla took this photo of Myia at intermission.  The kids and I traveled down to Cincinatti on Sunday. Myia had a dance recital, she had 5 different dances and did great on every dance, we really enjoyed watching her, she won an award, Most Improved Dancer!   I forgot to ask how many years she has been dancing but I remember just having Addison and going down when he was just 2 weeks old, and I have gone since so it has been at least 6 years, she goes to competitions now and is on performance teams.  Sorry we didn't get her picture in all of her pretty costumes.  We had to sit through an entire recital and almost half of the second since she does so many dances but the kids were great!!  They loved hanging out with Jack and Myia!!

Addison's Preschool Year!!

Last Day at Tami's this School Year!!

This was an emotional day for me.  Addison's last day full time at Tami's, well Ayla's as well, she is going to preschool 2 days per week next year and Addison will be in KG! WOW!! That went super fast!! We are super blessed to have had 2 amazing babysitters and wonderful families that go as well! We have gained many new friendships during these past years!!

Broadway Baby~

Well Ayla performed much better than expected!! She did her dance beautifully and with a little extra spunk!!  We were super proud of her!! Pictures at the recital were not good.  She said her favorite part was the vinale (finale) she liked dancing with the older girls.  Next year she wants to do ballerina, tap and gymnastics she said, we will see about ALL of that!!  Her are some pictures before the recital.

We were waiting to go in and Addison found a caterpillar and was pretty proud of it!!

After the recital we went to Tom' Ice Cream for a special treat, we had lots of fun and can't wait until next year!

Addison performed the last performance of the season at church this morning in Children's Choir, I need to get a picture of it, he did great!!! We are were so proud to watch him as well!!
