Easter Bunny Came

 I liked all of the pictures of them together so I just added them all!! Daddy had to work so we went to church, Grandpa John came up and stayed with us while Mommy, Grandma and Markie went to the hospital to see Papaw Phil.

Easter Eve

On Saturday we made a little trip over to Howard, OH ( I think) Grandma Becky and Grandpa Tom moved Wed, Thursday and Friday, so we made a quick trip over to check out the place they moved into.  We ate dinner at a little restaurant and visited a little before we headed home to get ready for the Easter Bunny!!

This year Addison and Ayla went shopping with me to the new Children's Place and they picked out these jammies.  They were so excited!

Bird nest cookies that were a flop, Addison and Ayla weren't impressed.. they didn't like the coconut but Tami said the kids ate them fine at her house, so it was easy to leave something the kids didn't like for the bunny!

Easter at Grandma Beth and Grandpa Johns

This Easter was a little different.... Papaw Phil is still in the hosptial and is very, very sick.  He is now in Ohio State University Hospital.  He had a heart cath ( on Friday) and the doctors found 3 blockages and he was recommended for a triple bypass.  We are currently waiting for them to complete vein mapping to see if he has any good veins to complete the procedure and if his body is strong enough to handle it.  The is heavily sedated and peaceful but he has two different infections they are also concerned about.  We went ahead and had an Easter dinner at Grandma Beth's we are attempting to lift Grandma Nance's spirits a little..

Plastic egg hung was complete now its time to color Easter eggs and boy did we make a mess, the eggs looked great and the kids had a great time doing it!!

We thought shirtless was the way to go!!

Alive Again

Friday morning our church had an Alive Again celebration for kids.  I got the pleasure of helping out with the preschool group!! I got to go around with 13 little kids from 9-12:30..... I would be surprised if they weren't ready for a nap afterwards!! Ayla was wiped out and I was too!!  I only got a picture of Ayla since Addison was in a different group, she did great and had fun and Addison had fun as well!!

Grandparents Day 2011

Addison's Kiddie Kollege has a grandparents day and it happened to be on Thursday of this past week.  Grandma Beth and Grandpa John, Grandma Becky and Grandpa Tom came over for the special event.  Addison's teacher told them how great of a boy he was and how well he does in school!!  The grandparents got to go to the book fair with Addison and spend some hard earned money on books for the kids... which they loved!!!  Then they went to pick up Ayla at Tami's, and went to Cracker Barrel for lunch ( and a stuffed toy was bought for each) not sure want the menu was.... then they went to Whits for ice cream afterwards !! It was  fun day, they were very, very spoiled.  Addison said it was the best day ever!!! Of course no pictures because I was not there to photo the event!!

A funny story....

Last night Adam was getting ready to play his first church softball game, he went upstairs and got his clothes changed into his baseball pants and shirt and was ready to go.  Ayla came down as said,
" Daddy, why are you wearing mommy's pants,"  I laughed soooooo hard, that struck me as sooo funny, she is not used to seeing her dad in tight black pants!! ( I asked him this morning if he slid and ripped my pants)

We made it over to visit the Brownrigg family and meet baby Hudson, It was great to hold a sweet little boy, we all enjoyed it!!  Addison and Ayla are excited for him to join them at Tami's!!

Jack's 7!!!!

This weekend we celebrated Jack's 7th Birthday, we traveled to Cincinnati Friday night and spent the night , we played outside at a playground before heading to Jack's skating party!!!  Addison and Jack really have shown improvement in roller skating we went at Christmas with Jack and Myia and last week and they both are really good!! Myia is also good.. Ayla does very well but it takes her nearly 20 minutes to go around twice so it wears her out pretty fast!! Jack and Addison are becoming pretty good buddies and play together very well, while the girls hang out to the girlie things!!Thanks for a great weekend and I cannot belive you are 7, We love you Jack!!

~Welcome Hudson ~

We have a new little friend that will be going to our babysitter very soon!! Braxton became a big brother on Thursday!!  I think Hudson Jordan Brownrigg looks just like Braxton! ( cuties) We have not made it to visit him yet but Addison and Ayla are very excited to meet him after they get home from the hospital!!!!  

Thursday was an emotional day, I as waiting on texts about the baby being born and got one from my mom saying my grandpa had to go to the hospital.  He is currently in Marietta Memorial Hosptial with many things wrong, he is in intensive care with pneumonia and is on a ventilator, Thursday late evening was very rough for him but he is now stable so we will continue to pray he gets stronger!! My mom and her siblings are now caring for Grandma and Grandpa!!!!!!!!!!

KG Already

I signed Addison up for kindergarten today!! Wow it doesn't seem possible!! He is very excited to go to school with me, it will be so much easier having him with me!!

35 Years and Counting!!

In March Grandma Beth had a birthday and Grandma Beth and Grandpa John had a big anniverary!! 35 years!  Ayla and Addison each had a soccr game today, last game! Grandma, Grandpa, Myia, Jack, Uncle Christian and Aunt Brittany made it to the games. Ayla and Addison both did very well they are soooooo fun to watch!!  Then they all came to our house along with Grandma Kutscherenko and Aunt Susie to have lunch and dessert to celebrate the anniversary and birthday!! It was a very fun day great day spending time with family!! Thanks for coming to the games everyone! Congratulations to Grandma Beth and Grandpa John for celebrating 35 years!!  We had a very busy and fun week we got to see Jack and Myia lots.. We went to see Rango with them on Thursday!! We were almost the only family in the theater.. Fun . fun!!
